Get alerts directly on WhatsApp by linking your project phone number to AlertHub.
Paid feature: WhatsApp is available only on Pro plans (or higher). Free accounts cannot link WhatsApp or receive WhatsApp alerts. Upgrade from Pricing in the app.
How it works
- You generate a one-time linking code in AlertHub.
- You send a WhatsApp message with that code to the AlertHub number (via link or QR).
- AlertHub detects the message, validates the code, and binds your phone to the project.
- From then on, warning and critical alerts for that project are delivered as WhatsApp messages (subject to your plan’s monthly WhatsApp quota).
Setup
- Open your project in app.thealerthub.com and go to the Connections tab.
- Find the WhatsApp card.
- If you see a Premium badge, your current plan does not include WhatsApp — upgrade first.
- Click Link with WhatsApp. AlertHub generates a unique code and opens a modal.
- Send the pre-filled message to the AlertHub WhatsApp number:
- Use Open WhatsApp, or
- Scan the QR code, or
- Copy the message and send it manually.
- After the message is sent, click Validate code in the modal.
- When validation succeeds, the project is linked and you will start receiving alerts on WhatsApp.
You can unlink WhatsApp anytime from the same card (admins only).
Requirements
- An active Pro (or higher) subscription with a WhatsApp monthly alert allowance greater than zero.
- Admin role on the project (members cannot link or unlink WhatsApp).
- Ability to send a WhatsApp message from the phone that should receive alerts.
Limits
WhatsApp delivery is quota-based per billing period (shown on the pricing page for each plan). When the monthly WhatsApp quota is reached, further WhatsApp deliveries for that period are skipped until the quota resets or you upgrade.
