Slack

Connect Slack with the AlertHub app, an incoming webhook, or both. Open the project Connections tab and click the Slack card.

Option 1: AlertHub app (recommended)

1. Invite @AlertHub to the channel where alerts should appear.
2. In that channel, type @AlertHub connect.
3. Copy the code the bot replies with.
4. Paste the code on the Slack connection page in AlertHub and click Link.

The workspace must have the AlertHub Slack app installed. Alerts are posted with the bot into the linked channel.

Option 2: Incoming webhook

Use this if you cannot install the app in the workspace.

1. In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the target channel (channel integrations, or api.slack.com/apps).
2. Copy the URL. It starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/.
3. On the Slack connection page in AlertHub, paste it under Incoming webhook and save.

You can add more than one webhook if you notify several channels. Warning and critical alerts are delivered; info stays in the dashboard.
